As a Buyer, you will be in charge of negociating with providers globally, as well as sourcing future new providers.

Competenze richieste:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a strategic sourcing or category management role, desirably managing plastic pieces and/or metallic componens.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing category strategies that deliver cost savings and mitigate supply risks.
Excellent negotiation skills and experience negotiating complex contracts in an international business.
Fluent in professional English language, both verbal and written, as well as fluent Spanish.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Prepared to travel as required to meet with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Le vostre responsabilità:

Develop and implement a category strategy for those families of materials under his/her responsibility, that aligns with Maxam’s business objectives.
Conducts global negotiations for his/her categories. Negotiate supply agreements and deploy them through the global organization at Maxam.
Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance targets.
Promote and lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute cost savings initiatives. Analyse spend data to identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and process improvements.
Conduct market analysis and monitor trends in the supplier market to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, and promote their integration in Maxam, to ensure innovation and state of the art technologies are available to the organization.
