We are looking for a Data Lead for our offices in Madrid: PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Own the end-to-end architecture for the Azure product Data Prime. Identifies and translates business demands/requirements into analytics use cases; manages data analytics and reporting projects; drives the implementation of solutions across the business and promotes cost effective scaling in Data Prime. Responsible for industrialization, deployment and functional maintenance of Data Prime. Support advanced analytics team by providing clear inputs (e.g. requirements) to them from the business teams; works with analytics teams to confirm assumptions and ensure models and outputs will meet business requirements.Articulate analytics propositions to business stakeholders, and collaborate with the business to identify and scope new use case opportunities, defines the MVP and protects projects’ scope Advise Product owners and the OpCo on outside perspectives/innovations related to data architectureOversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutionsLead communication of analytics outputs with executives; act as bridge between management and analytics specialists; share insights with business stakeholders and collects inputs.Engage cross-functionally with product management, leadership, and engineers to develop concepts that advance the entire data pipelineSet direction, from a data architecture perspective about how products and programs should join up across the OpCo. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations regarding data storage.Verify the implementation – ensure the new data process is consistent with the agreed Data Prime architecture, and meets the requirementsStrategic data driven business partner, supports defining roadmaps, builds the organization-wide analytics capability.Lead development of data architecture standards for data collection, maintenance, storage, and organization and align these with the global standards. Collaborate with the Global Data and Enterprise architect on the solution design to ensure it conforms to the overall architectural vision and technical roadmap.Engage cross-functionally with product management, leadership, and engineers to develop concepts that advance the entire product pipeline and constraints on the solution QUALIFICATIONS: Proven problem solving skills, ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment Comfortable with metrics, measurements and prioritizationExperience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, etc.): manages projects, milestones and dependencies with ease. Analytically and quantitatively strong and highly structuredAbility to explain complex technical processes to business stakeholders and to visualize and create high-level models (rigorous information – rich diagrams) that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business data architecture.Ability to build intuitive information data pipelines based on business goals, use cases, and industry trends, understanding of how data is used within business processes and its impactBackground in programming in C, R or Python is beneficial.
