Our Client operates world-wide and works with major companies from all over the world to build service offices for their customers. Presently the Client is building the IT Hub located in the centre of Poznań. 

As Global Apps Delivery Manager, You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation, maintenance and support of global applications.  You wil be reporting to Global Apps & Data Services Director. You will be cooperating with:
 
Internal:

  • Global Operations
  • Regional Operations
  • Corporate and Regional Finance
  • Corporate and Regional HR
  • Corporate and Regional IT

External

  • Vendors

Your responsibilities:

  • Improve operational processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications systems
  • Responsible of managing a team of business analysts, project managers and software engineers with direct collaboration with product owners, scrum masters, architects and QA teams
  • Handle and track project status, progress and other critical metrics in relation to the plan and publishes progress reports to executive stakeholders
  • Assign development resources to activities and monitor progress and performance across multiple resource channels
  • Actively identify, manage and raise risks, issues, and changes tied to the product development initiatives
  • Ensure deliverables across technology teams are high-quality and clearly documented
  • Drives continual development process improvement and re-engineering activities.
  • Forecasts and performs analysis on team capacity and demand. Identifies role, skillset, and capability gaps and recommends methods and options to filling the gaps.

Required skills:

  • Mandatory Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics or physics.
  • Strong experience in software engineering, application development, and Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Deep understanding of technical delivery and technology solutions at an enterprise-level 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Scrum projects/teams through all phases of project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and an ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with third parties, development and product managers
  • Strong experience with Web Services and Restful API development, 
  • Experience in principles and tools for continuous delivery, continuous deployments and DevOps.
