The IT Bid Manager owns the IT proposal for bids, and processes to support business growth with new and existing clients. The IT Bid Manager for Global Accounts is involved in those stages of the proposal process where IT solution description, security, solution cost and IT questionnaires are required. IT bid manager is supported  by Technical Account Managers and indirectly by SMEs and stakeholders within the organization.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all global client requests for quotations are answered in terms of technology. ​
  • Preparation of the IT offer, the technical solution and calculation of costs and investments required. Participate in the collection and definition of client requirements.​
  • Support the global sales team in the IT response to any questionnaire or RFI for global clients. Own the commercial IT aspects of the offering, ensuring that all products/services are included in the final price to the client.​
  • Be part of the design and portfolio management team for IT solutions for global clients. Follow the company's strategy in managing the portfolio.​
  • Employ and promote the global solutions portfolio by including them in bids or promoting them to the technical team and Business Account managers.​
  • Coordinate IT activities throughout the bid lifecycle and participate in client presentations required as part of the bid submission.​
  • For any accepted offer, ensure the smooth transition of the offer to the assigned PM. Contribute to the preparation, organisation and validation of the project launch.​
  • Oversee and incorporate input to the technical proposal from the various stakeholders, including contributions from regional IT bid coordinators, architects and IT experts. ​
  • Communicate key IT cost drivers to the pricing teams and adapt the details of the business model. Advise other tender team members on fluency, technical language and grammar.​
  • ​Project management: taking ownership of the proposal once it has been won and ensuring project implementation, monitoring and control. All in accordance with the client's requirements and aligned with the company's strategy and portfolio. Ensure proposal documents follow corporate brand guidelines, standard format and quality standards.​
  • Coordinate and plan IT checkpoints, alignment sessions and stakeholder meetings. Manages the monitoring of the projects

Skills and competencies:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, business administration or related fields​
  • Training and knowledge in PM methodology or bid management​
  • Strong time management / prioritization skills.​
  • Strong written English language skills.​
  • Technical knowledge of key elements of the BPO industry with the ability to evaluate alternative technical solutions. ​
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with professional handling of document templates, macros and styles.​
  • Project and Portfolio Management skills​
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of high demand, high expectation, dynamic team​
  • Creative problem-solving, analytic and decision-making skills with minimal supervision​
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively through change​
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)​
