What do I need?

  • Holistic Life Cycle Management with competencies across the Systems Engineering discipline
  • Expertise across the engineering life cycle V-Model or equivalent
  • Proficiency in IBM DOORS, EA Sparx and CAMEO; experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • Ability to manage internal and external sub-contractors and lead small teams and projects
  • Experience in Requirements and Systems Architecture, ensuring scalable solutions
  • Familiarity with UK MOD practices and accreditation standards (beneficial)
  • Managing Stakeholder Requirements, Life Cycle Tailoring, Verification, Validation, and Transition to Operation

SC and willing to get Defence Vetting (DV) security clearance if required for the projects, so your nationality and past/present residencies might impact eligibility. Details are available at UK Security Vetting.

Your Role and Impact

  • Provide Systems Engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, with an understanding of the CADMID/T lifecycle model
  • Develop Engineering Management Plans and Systems Engineering artefacts for project delivery
  • Manage requirements from system to subsystem, including analysis and traceability
  • Manage system and subsystem architectures, creating and executing test and integration plans
  • Lead design reviews and communicate technical solutions to customers
  • Guide teams to meet critical milestones, applying best practices to manage risks and seize opportunities

 

These are full-time roles (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility to be based at various locations, including Plymouth, Bristol, Bath, Corsham, Bordon and Tewkesbury.
