The role
As a Licensed Avionics Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. ensuring aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services are provided as required to always meet and exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs.


Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities: 

  • Analyse complex engineering problems and devise effective solutions. And diagnose and address technical issues to improve system performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians and inspectors during maintenance activities. Whilst fostering a collaborative team environment and develop team members' skills.
  • Engage with staff and customers effectively, ensuring clear communication.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines efficiently.

 

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Wittering. This role is a mobile role and occasional visits to other sites is required.

Required skills:

Essential experience of the Licensed Avionics Engineer:

  • Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military Aviation environment
  • Knowledge of Engineering procedures/ documentation


Qualifications for the Licensed Avionics Engineer:

  • CAA Part 66 B2 licence
  • Driving Licence
