At MAXAM, we are looking for a Start-Up Project Engineer to lead the commissioning, start-up, and technical implementation of Bulk Plants, Mobile Manufacturing Units (MSUs), and Cassettes.
The successful candidate will coordinate project execution from installation through handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards, and give support to the spare-parts team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute start-up projects for Bulk Plants, MSUs, and Cassettes.
- Supervise mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment assembly.
- Perform testing, commissioning, diagnostics, and troubleshooting activities.
- Configure and support PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with MAXAM standards and local safety regulations.
- Train customer personnel on operation and basic maintenance.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and commissioning records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to plant and MSU equipment.
- Support the spare parts Team.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or similar), with at least 2 years of professional experience.
- Experience in commissioning, start-up, industrial projects, or field engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Mandatory availability to travel internationally up to 40-50% of the time.
